Ok so im thinking of getting the 7900 gt video card, but i dont know if i can get a better card for 300-320 bucks. I am getting all of my stuff from newegg.com, can someone help me find a video card that is nice for 300-320 bucks? I also need to get a great case from newegg.com. thanks a lot.

PS: will this make a good gaming computer?

the cpu is ok, but it's pretty slow compared to some of the newer cpu's.

As for the video card, you could consider getting an x1800XT 512MB for around $300.

Would that be better? Also what cpu do you recommend me getting, can you give me a link to it from newegg?

I would try to get a better CPU if possible... other than that you had a nice set up. At the least get a AMD 3500 though.

well
1)you mobo is just as expensive as your CPU
2) you dont need a SLI mobo becasue you wont have 2 cards
3) get a better processor first then work off of that

and yeah go for the 7900gt
