Nero - Blames non-existent space errors on why it doesn't actually burn the slideshow.

OOo presentation - Can't figure out how to burn it so it autoplays instead of as a file.

Just burning a bunch of pics - "Please eject disc playback feature may not be available for this disc" All files on disc were pics, jpg's.

Windows Movie Maker -

Here's the dvd player's info:
Playable disks:
>DvD video
>DVD-R*
>Audio CD
>CD-R/RW*
>mp3*

*depending on the types or the writing method of the medium some disks con not be played

# Some DVD-R or CD-R/RW dics made on a personal computer, or on DVD recorders may not be player back properly due to factors such as scriatches, dirt, or special properties of the disc.

(Note: I like 'disk' better than 'disc', but the manual is using 'disc')

# Discs made on personal computers may not be played back properly due to different enviroments or the settings of the application you use. We recommend you always use the standardized, properly formatted discs. (please contact sales for more details.)

NTSC color system only

Use MovieMaker to create a photo slideshow. Next, save the slideshow as a file to your computer. Next, place the new slideshow movie into something like MyDVD8 and burn it to a DVD.

Are you clicking the link "Save project to computer" and saving it to somewhere like "my documents"?

If that doesn't work, I'd reinstall movie maker.

It worked. o.O

I think that error must have been from trying to save it directly to disk. That, or the problem corrected itself from all the other stuff I've been trying to fix. ^.^;;

So if I just drag that slideshow to a blank disk and burn it, and it should autoplay in that dvd player, right?

No. you need to put it into a format the DVD player can read such as a VCD (Video CD) or use something like MyDVD8.

Nero is the only program I know of. I don't make DVD's very often, so I can't really help there.

Nero is still refusing to finish burning vcds. It looks like it gets close, but the disk is blank when I eject then put it back in and open it.

35mbs, with a lot of pieces I don't need seems a bit ridiculous (that's about 2hours to download) and especially so if it's just a 30day trial.

Oh, and this:
sml_en_Burning_Studio_8_Main.jpg

looks just like Nero, but with different words. :/

Just can't help some people can you!!!!!!!

Use Burning studio 5 then, it's FREE now, and as for looking like Nero....yeah....if you're still using nero express!!!

Umm... I'm rather software and search-engine disabled. The vcd option seems to only be with the 'burn movie' option. Which can only use .mpg .mpeg .dat and .vot?

I resaved a wmv a mpg and then as mpeg and neither were acceptable to the program. ^.^;

I tried a search but didn't get anything useful.

I just realized. When I was trying to burn memtest86 I couldn't figure out how to burn it so that I could use it. (I think it was an autoplay of sorts so I could boot using the disk.)

Would that have any connection with these issues?
