Making/upgrading

So i have acquired a laptop...slower than life....P2 somethin likea 333. Is it possible to upgrade the chipset? or completely ripout the motherboard,and what not, and put in a more advanced one? If so, where would i find part for something like this?

To get the parts would required you to damn near buy a new laptop and to replace it would cause more work than it's worth (for 99% of the cases)

i think it would be cheaper to sell your laptop for whatever you can and buy a faster one. buying the parts all individually would cost you more than its worth. and getting them to fit inside that ancient of a case would be hard, no, impossilbe lol...without mods or something.
