Making Videos

Hello please excuse me if I have posted in the incorrect section. I am new to internet marketing and software

I am trying to make a simple video for YouTube to promote something I am working on. I dont wish my face to appear but I wish to speak and to show sections of the programme I am in.

I have no idea where to start!

I have little money and have been told that Snagit is a good tool for making videos? However its $49.
I wondering if there are any free websites out there that do the same.

I also have bought today a very simple headset but........ have no idea what to do with it lol. Do I go onto my channel at youtube and press something there?

Any help anyone can give would be so appreciated.

When you say you want to make a video, do you have individual clips that you want to edit together to make one presentation video ?

Hi. Thank you for replying. Ummm yes I guess. I want to do a voiceover and maybe show pages from a word document and a page or two from the programme I am in online. Hope that makes sense

Decent free video makers are hard to come by, most of the best programs like cyberlink or sony vegas are paid for although to be fair they are reasonable price.

If you really need a free one, try windows movie maker 2012, or Avidemux.
