hey guys, i've been using ad-aware for idk how many years now and it find some stuff that even my kaspersky 09 doesnt find. i was lookin around and i say malwarebytes. so know i'm wondering if i should keep ad-aware or get malwarebytes. what do you think?

I've uninstalled adaware from most of my clients computers and have installed Malwarebytes. Superantispyware is another good free program to use.

Malwarebytes is a good program. The main program is free, meaning that scanning and updating is the same as the paid version. From what I understand, the paid version just allows your pc to be scanned in the background or what not. So when going to purchase the program think if you really are gonna use it as a full application or just for miscellaneous scans.

Malwarebytes is the program recommended by this Forums in house Security expert (ceewi) so look no further. :)

I've had problems with malwarebytes, it did instantly find my virus's that other programs can't but it says something like.. vbalsgrid7.ocx cannot be found or something when its in their..
check my other post for information on my problem
