Malwarebytes compatability with McAfee

I read on the internet that for some reason Malwarebytes free version is compatible with McAfee but for some reason it's paid version is not. I installed the trial paid version and I don't seem to be having any compatibly problems so far . So why would there be a problem with the paid version if I kept it ?

The paid version is actively scanning all the time to where the free version is only an on demand scanner. Actually if you have Malwarebytes PRO then there is no need for a traditional antivirus program.

no problems running the pro version with avast.
