mandrake dl

i'm looking to try and find a free dl of mandrake. I'm looking to get started in linux because it seems to be the best direction to take me where I'm trying to go with my pcs. Anyone have any sites to dl or advice, it's much appreciated.

I would also go and get the trial version of FlashGet. It is a program for downloading from http or ftp which allows you to open 10 different connections at once, thus increasing the speed. It also has reconnect option so if you loose connection you dont have to start over.

hmm i found a site for mandrake 10.1 i think it was but the webpage to dl it off of is down . I don't want to downgrade to 9.2 i think it was. What are the benefits of this mandriva linux?
