Manually adjusting fan speed

Hey guys I'm looking to manually adjust the fan speed on my CPU heatsink and on the back of my case.

In order to adjust their speed do I access them through the BIOS, somewhere in the device manager, or somewhere else?

Thanks for any input.
 
the cpu you can usually adjust in bios, but it depends what cpu you have. As for the rear fan in the back if it came with a controller than yes, but if its one to the molex or to the mobo i dont think you can

Ahh I see, my specs are in my sig for my CPU so I will check the bios soon. Looks like the one on the back does not have a controller, it is connected directly to the mobo. Thanks for the advice.
