Manually configure router

I'm trying to help a family member (via phone) configure a router (trendnet 432brp). They swapped out their cable modem today for a new one and now they have no internet connection on their PC as a result.

They dont have the Easy Go installation CD (cant download it either).
Any tips for getting the router and modem to play nice via the routers config?
 
It might not be the router. Did they get the replacement cable modem from their cable provider? Did they call and register the new modem?
 
You didn't answer my question. You must let your cable company know that you have a different modem, you will need to give them the mac address so that they can authorize the modem to receive internet.
