Ok, i have a file server and on my main computer i have a network drive mapped to it. Typically the drives say "disconnected" even when the file server is on at least until i click them to browse the files. Then they come back and work just fine. I typically leave my computers on for a long period of time so now and then when i come back the drives are disconnected again. Is there anyway to keep them connected as i have win media player pointed to the mapped drive for my media library so when i go to play something and the drive is disconnected again media player freaks out and starts asking if i want to delete stuff from my library. There are various other programs that have simmilar problems when they disconnect as well. My server is running Server 2k3 and my computer is running XP professional. Thanks.
