Mass Effect 3 With All Characters Alive?

I just finished Mass Effect 2, and then replayed the ending, actually keeping all characters alive. I'm hesitant to delete the save where I re-did the end just to keep my outcome because I like playing games once, and exactly how I really would have done, but I want to know if having everyone alive when you start Mass Effect 3 makes a difference? I'd rather not have any major spoiler answers if possible. I might delete the "cheating" save anyway because I just value my integrity that much lol, but I appreciate and and hopeful for responses soon. Thank you for your help in advance.
 
Generally, you run into characters that are still alive. It doesn't necessarily let them be party members again but form what I remember it sometimes helps 'galactic readiness'
 
So say I'm missing Thane Krios and Jack, would that have any severe implications or restrictions whilst playing Mass Effect 3?
 
I don't have much experience with the series but I kind of doubt that you would have severe problems with a game just because of what happened in the previous.

How did you miss all of them? All you have to do is do their side missions in ME2 and make sure you don't pick a stupid choice in the ending of 2 and you're fine.
 
I didn't miss all of them? I just lost Thane and Jack because I sent Thane for the door opener "specialist" at the beginning, and Jack was unloyal because I sided with Miranda when they fought and I sent her to take the crew back to the ship. I think choosing Thane for the "specialist" part is a honest mistake, I mean, he's an assassin, he should be decent at it, but I didn't think about needing to be able to close the door. I liked Thane, but I hated Jack anyway so I'm not really concerned with her being dead.
 
I remember a side quest related to thane, and something with Jack at a bio-whatever-they-call-it school. I don't think you'd be missing all that much.
 
Well I just started the game today with the save that has those two dead. I kept the other save, just in case. But I doubt I'll be using it. At any rate, thanks for your help Cromewell and Denther.
