Massive Browserproblems

Hi

For a looooong loooong time I have now experienced problems with my Internetbrowser when it comes to annoying "Breakdowns" of the Shockwave Flash-plugin.

I think I have tried 6-8 different browsers, ranging from IE9 over Opera, Firefox, Google Chrome, to Safari an over to more "exotic" browsers like Avant or Maxthon.

But no matter which browser I use, I get those annoying "Shockwave Flash" breakdowns several times a day - where I have to shut down my browser and reopen it.

I have spent days and weeks on finding a solution on the Internet, and I have tried everything from updating Shockwave Flash to reinstalling Windows - but nothing helps. I have searched the Internet thin for solutions, but nothing helps.

The whole issue started with Google Chrome which I have heard, has had some serious troble when it comes to Shockwave Flash.

Its really tragic, how Google - after now almost 2 years - has not been able to solve the problem. Even though it is a problem with a plug-in, I believe its Google who is responsible for making it work.

If you have any suggestions how to solve my problem I would be very grateful to get some advice - because I´m fed up with those frequently breakdowns, that occur several times every day.

Thanks in advance !

Hi

Currently I am running Windows 7 (32-BIT).

However I had the same problems when I was running the 64-BIT version too.

Well I would wipe the drive and start all over, but that's just me.

@paulcheung
Thanks for your reply.

Can you tell me how to uninstall Shockwave Flash?

As far as I can see, it has no seperate entry in "Remove programs"?

However I have Adobe Flash Player 11 installed - is that the same as Shockwave Flash?

Can you recommend any other players?

It should be in the control panel>remove a program.
I haven't use shock wave before, so I don't know what is it. but if is in the browser you can use the adobe flash player, and if for movies and video files you can either use VLC player or windows media player. for music I use winamp.
Hope that will help you.
Cheers.
