Massive Temp file: delete?

hey guys, i have a bit of a dilemma: im running low on space on my XP partition and i dont really know why; i deleted a bunch of stuff last week, and had about 5gb free. today the "low space" warning came up and i started checking as to where all that space could have gone (all my internet downloads go to another drive, and i dont think i installed anything lately on the XP drive). anyhow i checked the temp file, and i was astonished to find that it was 7.5gb!! my question is: should i go ahead and delete those. they are temporary after all...

Download and run ccleaner on a regular basis. It not only removes any temp files older than 24hrs, it deletes browser cache, empties the recycle bin, deletes any log files, even firewall logs. It's the ultimate Crap cleaner.

I run it once every couple days and it deletes Gb's at a time.
