Max Cpu for Motherboard?

Hi,

Im hopefully gonna be upgrading my system soon and i need some help on what maximum cpu my Motherboard can handle.

I currently have a Socket A,AMD Sempron 2Ghz in but im unsure how fast cpu i can replace it with.

My mobo which is a Asus A7V8X-LA.
It was in a Hp computer but i still want to use the mobo.

if you can get hold of one it'll be an athlon xp 3400+ (if i remember correctly)

There is no Athlon XP 3400+, it only goes to 3200+,

Yes there is an XP3400, helped my sister pick a computer, it was an emachine from costco with an XP3400.
