Max Memory

Well my comp currently had 496 MB of RAM in it, and PC Wizard says my max is 512, I currently have a 256 MB stick in it and i guess i have some on board RAM too. Is there any way to crank this max past 512 without getting a new MoBo. also is it possible the onboard ram may be damaged because 496 MB is quite a strange number for RAM amount. Also PC Wizard says I have two 256 sticks in it. But i only have one RAM slot.

thats not right...you must have already 512Mb of ram installed but your system only has 496 because your onboard gfx is using 16Mb of it

i dont know your numbers seem wierd

Like above I would say you have 512 mbs of Ram but your onboard Video is using 16 mbs of it.

if your mobo doesnt support any more that 512Mb of ram then no.

are you sure it only supports 512mb?

Ran that program and it does not work properly. It tells me my max its 2gb when i know its 8 gb.
