MB and RAM combo question

you would just need to make sure that you put the correct ram in the correct slots. If you don't it just simply wouldn't recognize it

That's the first board I have seen that will run both. The MSI website really sucks, I can't find the online manual for that board. But I did see on their website that it says,

Supports 2 unbuffered DIMM of 1.8 Volt DDR2 or 2 unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 SDRAM.

That would lead me to believe that you can't run both at the same time. But I could be wrong.

Not to slam your choice, but why the hell did you buy this board?

Nah man. I didn't buy this board. I was just wondering what someone could do with it. I was thinking what you solved though. You need to choose between the two types of RAM here, you cannot possibly use both. Thanks again.

If you check the specs on the P35 chipset, there is no doubt. DDR2/DDR3 uses the same signals pins on the chipset, so there is no way that both can be supported at the same time

Thanks again.

Another MB question...

I have a processor selected that has a FSB of 1333Mhz. I want my motherboard to have this too and they all say 1333/1066. This isn't specific, how do I know if the motherboard will run @ 1333 with my C2D E6750??? thanks
