MB temperature!

Well, for about 3 days my mother board (Asus M2n-E) was in an open case (both sides of the case were open) and it ran at 40C. Today I got my Antec Sonata II case and motherboard is running at 60C. So I would like to know what temp should the mother board be when running non-overclocked. Just so that I know if I am in a danger zone.
Thank you

So what's getting hot? Is it your motherboard, processor, or some chipset?

How many fans do you have, and how are they setup? I've noticed strong intake fans on the front sometimes raises temps. Also, be sure fans aren't too close where they'd cancle each other out.

alright I think I got it down!
I removed the damn floppy and the stupid heat pipe. So nothing blocks the air passage. Cuz I have one 5" fan in the back which sucks air through the front. Now my MB temp is about 33C which is better then before and my fan is not on high anymore, its on mid speed :)

PS: Now my question is. Is there a chance that i damaged the motherboard by running it at 60C?
Thank you
