I have a problem with McAfee. The images on the SecurityCenter page dont load. I mean I get the little boxes with the shapes in them. I tried uninstalling McAfee and redownloading to no avail. Any ideas?

Thanks

Get rid of it and use something less demanding on your system such as AVG, Avira, or Avast. All are free.

Don't listen to the n00b above me. McAfee is NOT a resource hog.

It's the best anti-virus software you can get. Have you tried contacting their support? Login and go to help then contact customer service. I usually do their live chat, it's the fastest and they're usually very helpful. :)

Thats awful funny. You'll find out that the majority of veterans here at computerforum will recommend not using Mcafee.

John is defiantly someone you should listen to, especially in this section. He's helped a lot of people with their problems, however i can't say the same about you.

Yeah Mcafee does hog resources, like you stated in your first post AVG, Avira, and Avast are all free and much better then Mcafee. Personally i would use one of the three instead of Mcafee.

Thank you Respital for your kind words. I would have said something else to him but I didn't want to stoop to his level.

No problem at all John. :)

As for the original poster please proceed with Johns original instructions and post back if you need anymore help. ;)

You should contact McAfee support and get help with the problem. You paid for it and you should use it. Yes McAfee is a bit of a resource hog, particulary if your using the security suit. Keep it till your subscrition runs out and at that point look at switching to something else.
