Hi all. I went out and purchased the Acer Predator G7750. It is a nice machine. Extremely quiet. It has all the speed I asked for and more. However it came with a free 3 months of McAfee which I decided to try out for the hell of it to see what kind of drain it has on the system. Now since this system is new there are a few noticible differences from my old system. It takes forever to boot up, email seems slow ..I am new to windows 7 so I am not sure if this is the culpret or not or it is the McAfee. Before I remove the McAfee is there a best way....meaning willl I be able to use remove programs in control panel or should I use a special removal tool. I had Norton on my old system before removing it and discovered it really didn't all uninstall when I removed it. Is McAfee the same or is it am easier process. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
