i took someones advice and ditched mcafee, and can not be happier, but mcafee dosent want to go away. when i uninstall it gets up to uninstall the last app, spamkiller and it freezes. this is getting me annyoed. anyone know what to do?

Did you uninstall "Mcafee Security Center" component before all other components? First you must uninstall all McAfee components from Add or Remove: antivirus, firewall, spamkiller ( if you are using it). Then at the end uninstall Mcafee Security Center

McAfee wont let you do that, it will say uninstall other components first.

turn off all the McAfee services from administrator tools, then go into safe mode and try ununstalling it from their

if that doesnt work, maybe you have 2 download a tool, 2 get rid of it, thats what i had 2 do with my friends computer.
