McAffe Anti-Virus Update?

It says my Anti-Virus is out-of-date..but when I click to update it, it just says that Privacy Service is. And when it does come up, it wants me to buy it? Anyone know how to update it?

how long have you had it. most anti virus programmes only let you update for a year then they make you purchase it again.

Well in my case, I bought a dell dimension 4700 for my parents, and it came with Mcafee antivirus. It was only a trial, 30 or 60 days I can't remember which. After the trial was over, I was unable to get the lastest virus definitions. You will have to purchase Mcafee if you want further upgrades from it.
