MDG Computers - Garbage or Not?

I have been in the market for a new desktop computer for the past 2 weeks. I looked on the mdg computers website and saw a number of really good deals (or so I thought).

A desktop computer was advertised for $599, which included an Intel Celeron D processor, 512MB RAM, 250GB drive and a 19" monitor.

I asked for this at the store and was refused. In fact I was refused quite directly. It was as if I was wasting his time by evening bringing up a cheaply priced system. He wrote down a few extras on a piece of paper which added up to well over a $1000. How can I go up by 400 bucks so soon? I said "NO THANKS" and walked out. Selfish sales guy had no clue how to treat a customer. The problem is that I was not able to get a feel for MDG desktop computers.

I asked around there have been different reviews. None have been good. Either people have really bad experiences with MDG or okay experiences. I have not heard anyone stand up and recommend MDG Computers

There sure were a lot of upset people in the MDG store that day. I wonder if that is an example of how bad they really are? I should also say that the store I was in looked a lot like the inside of boiler room office.

Still confused. Is MDG Computers Garbage or Not?

ROFL, that guy made me laugh, easily with 1000$ you could get a system which is 10 times better than piece of crap

AGreed. You couldnt buy a more overprices low end system. Build it yourself. We're here to help. If their overpriced low end system builders, then its garbage.

Listen, if the guys in the store don't care enough to give you the time of day, then I wouldn't buy one no matter what the quality. Build one yourself.
