Medal of Honor: Airborne won't instal

Well.. I've just bought this game, but it wont instal, somehow it decides to abort the installation :| I've let my brother instal it on his laptop, and there it instals fine. turns out, there is some issue with Vista x64. however, the solution throughout the internet (to get it installed) is:

For anyone else experiencing this problem it's a bug in the installer related to Windows Firewall. You must have it on and the associated service started for it to install correctly.

tough, they dont say what the 'associated service' is. or am I missing something here?

anyone any idea how to get it installed?

ok, I was able to instal it now.. turns out I jsut had to uninstal the Aegeria physx driver. (due to a dodge setup in x64) oh well, now lets see if the patching works
