Media Center working with tv tuner card

I recently purchased this from newegg, but it doesn't come with any software (just drivers). I've got it to work with Media Center for cable, so I can watch tv, but I also want to record via the A/V and S-vid hookups (shown here). Is there a way I can get Media Center to detect These?

*EDIT* Okay, I've got it to detect them by going to Settings>Tv>Set Up Tv Signal. I select "I will Manually configure my tv signal" and then on type of connection, I select "Cable." It asks if I have A "set top box" (controller box) and if I click yes, it allows me to view s-vid, and composite hookups...but the problem is...I dont have a set top box/controller box, so it wont allow me to go any further because it doesnt detect an "IR Blaster"

Any Ideas?

i've had the same problem with my tuner card. I only run windows media center (don't have the software that came with it) therefor i can't use my composite inputs. Unfortunately i'm not sure there is any way to get around this because media center isn't really designed for that. I wanted to do it in order to record myself playing video games but i've had no luck. The only thing i'd know to do is look for an add-on to media center that gives you the capability to record and such off of composite.

First you need a software that provides a PVR for recording shows and a selector option for choosing the input source for live feed. Using tv tuner and video capture cards here. Media Center in Vista failed to work even when a Vista driver for the tuner card was released. The software for an additional capture card was then added to the Ultra TV software for the analog/dvi tuner card here. With just a driver alone...???

The capture card came with Cyberlink's PowerProducer and PowerDirector to add to the mix with the tuner card already having it's own vcr program for recording shows. The actual tuner there is a cable box where you preset the channel to be viewed. That should be labeled more of an input not tuner card there.
