Media computer (for TV) -- suggestions?

[Euklid]

I want to build media computer I can hook up to my TV, so I can watch
online media. Looking for suggestions.

What I would like:

- WiFi
- 500GB hard-drive
- Use a remote control

Is there some way I can use remote control on desktop computer? Also,
any suggestions on operating system for such computer?

Thanks

I found this -- Asrock Ion 330HT. Anyone know if it comes with an
operating system?

It should suit your purpose.
However, is remote control really important to you?
Or I suggest you get a low end laptop and hook it to TV.

I don't think that comes with an OS. That system would be good for you though. The Atom 330 with the ION chipset is perfect for HTPC use, since it supports CUDA.

Windows 7 home premium is $115 CAD here:

Id personnaly build a HTPC system myself...you could stick in a 240-250gts graphics card and a better dual core cpu....get a motherbord with built in WI-FI.

You could always get something like this instead of a Remote.

If not im sure you buy a remote with a Blootooth adapter and do it that way.

^ That's actually pretty cool

I've seen them with touchpads, but not trackballs.
