Media Keyboard + WinAmp

I have a logitech media keyboard and I'm trying to get it to properly function with WinAmp. The problem is when a song is playing the keyboard's Play/Pause button can only effectively Play/Pause if it knows what WinAmp is doing. For example if a song is currently playing and I click the button I want it to pause. If a song is not playing and I click the button I want it to either continue from where it left off when I paused it or start playing the song that it is at the beginning of if I didn't pause any song.

That would be the ideal situation. What it's actually doing is this: if a song is playing and I click the button it either makes the song start from the beginning, which is annoying, or if I'm lucky it pauses it. Then if I do some stuff on the computer and try to unpause it, the same thing happens - it either starts the song from the beginning or if I'm lucky continues it.

I installed the newest keyboard drivers and my WinAmp is the newest version and it's a Pro version. How can I get the keyboard to function properly with the program?

Thanks

Your keyboard should have came with software. Install it and then in the options make the media feature winamp.

It did come with software but all the software allows you to do is set the actions of each key. I've set the Media key for Winamp but other than that there is not much else I can do using the software to point it to winamp. Any more ideas?
