when i first installed media player 10 and the k-lite codec pack with media player classic, video's played perfectly fine.
but now, most of the videos i try to play are too dark to see.
it happens kind of randomly too. i can play a video once and it be too dark, go to play it again and it'll be perfect.
i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it does nothing.
the only way i found to fix it was to reinstall windows.
that worked for a few days, but now i'm right back in the same situation.

any ideas?

Download: Winamp

I haven't used Windows Media Player since version 11 was
released. I think it's Microsoft and DRM messing with you.

OR if that doesn't work out you could try VLC player (videolan.org). It plays a lot of different types of files right on its own. Doesn't work well as a music player, but for just videos it's great.

According to me there is some issue with the file format of the video file ,So to resolve this issue , try to Install the VLC player on your computer , this will solve your issue .

You could try turning your hardware acceleration down. This has fixed video issues in WMP for me and other people in the past. The issue I had wasn't like yours, but its worth a shot.
