Media Player 10 Wont Install

Anyone know why Windows Media Player 10 wont install on my machine, it has XP Home SP2 installed and comes up with this :

This version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, view the information at the Microsoft web site.

Anyone got any ideas?

instead try and install 11. its free to download...

Download wmploc.dll: http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files.php/dllfiles/W/wmploc.dll/download.html

Then, put that file in C:\Windows\System32

Problem solved.
