I am concerned about Media Player security in a public internet setting like Starbucks. Media player recognizes other users within reach and requests permission to allow or deny surrounding users access for media content sharing... Can anyone tell me if an attacker can use Media Player to enter my computer via Media Player in a public space?
If an attack is suspected to have taken place, what can someone do to minimize potential damage and loss (i.e. protect bank accounts from being tampered with, etc)?
