My questain is how can I have quike palyer on my computer so my girl can use itunes but also have my prefered system on my comp to use for what I want it for.IE she uses i tunes and quike palyer for that.I use windows media for samples , how can I change this on my computer so taht I am not required to use quike player when I am doing what I need to do.

First, this is in the wrong section. Also, could you use spell checker next time? I can't help you if I can't read it.

Ok, when you install Itunes, does it say it "needs" to install Quicktime, or it "wants" to install it?

Ok, in Vista, right click the file you DON'T want quicktime to use. Click properties. Under the general tab, it will say "Opens With: Quicktime" or something like that. Click "change". Find windows media player, usually located in
"c:\program files\windows media player\wmplayer.exe"

There should be a thread in the software section about media playing software, or that at the least includes suggestions on something to use. I use WINAMP on my desktop, it works pretty nicely for my purposes.
