Hey guys,
I have Medieval Total War 2 here.
It worked before, on the same PC...
But i didnt use it for a while and then I reinstalled windows XP (home edition, SP2) (Legal of course), i installed the game and then i tried to play it, but, the screen turns black, the mouse changes to the waiting image of the game, it beeps once, and then it keeps 'loading' until infinity.
I cant even quit the game then, i have to restart my whole computer.
Does anyone know how to (maybe) fix this?

Maybe also important; back in the days when it still worked I had internet connection. But since i moved the PC up to my room and I don't have such a long Ethernet cable, I'm without internet on it.
