Meltdown!

The last couple weeks the fan on the back of my power supply has been sounding weird, but I ignored it. As of yesterday my computer has been freezing up every 15 minutes. I finally realized that my fan finally bit the dust and was overheating because of it. However today just out of curiosity I booted up and all I got when I booted up was a scramble of pixels and words. I reset it, same thing just a jumble of colours and blocks. Then finally nothin booted up at all. I know I probably shouldnt have booted up with no power supply fan but what does this mean that I fried? Is my Mobo toast too?

In all probability, nothing is fried. Replace the power supply, and see what happens.

Also check for loose cables, etc.

I once bought a new case with a supply included to see nothing two weeks after assembling the case. The supply simply crapped out. You might want to try a different brand supply when you go to replace it. I wouldn't keep playing around with it in the meantime.
