Mem Question

I have 4x512 sticks

ive been using 2x512

but i wanted to try to put another gig in well when i put it in..

It still reads as 1gig in system mem but when i look at cpuz and look under mem it says its there what should i do?

have you noticed any performance change that would indicate that the addition has been successful

Change the ram to older ports ( where earlier ram is installed )....
and then run the comp .. see that still shows 1gb .... ?

It will chk ur unused ports ... might be sum port problem ..
