I am thinking of buying a pre built computer however I think I've spotted a problem.

The asus P5N32-E SLI nForce 680i SLI mother board has a memory spec of:

Dual channel memory architecture
4 x DIMM, max. 8GB, DDR2-800/667/533, non-ECC, unbuffered memory

However the memory they are providing with this package is:

OCZ 2GB DDR2 900MHz Memory -( 2x 1GB Kit)
Data Integrity Check: Non-ECC
Form Factor: DIMM 240-PIN
Memory Specification Compliance: PC7200
Memory Speed: 900 MHz
Registered or Buffered: Unbuffered
Storage Capacity: 2048MB (2x1024)
Technology: DDR2 SDRAM

Now the motherboard only supports 800/667/533, the memory is 900. So what will happen? Will the memory not work? Or will ir work slower? Or will it work the same?

It will run at DDR-800 but the 680i boards have support for something they call SLI Memory, which will let it run memory faster automatically if the RAM has EPP programmed into it. Having faster RAM than the board can technically run will also let you overclock a bit while knowing the RAM isn't the limiting factor.

Long story short, it isn't a problem. :)

Cant find it anywhere except one shop - mesh computers. The closest I can find is 2GB OCZ SLI Ready Edition but the one above doesn't look like SLI ready to me. Is it the SLI ready one?
 
The picture is just a picture of RAM, those modules will have heatspreaders. I can't say that they will be 'SLI Memory' but most of the PC7200 modules OCz makes are marked as SLI ready.
