Memory Clock

Asus P4P800 MoBo.
When I overclock by 20% in BIOS the CPU speed increases from 3.0 to 3.2 as it should. However, the memory clock decreases from 200Mhz to 146Mhz or a scale factor of 3:2 rather than 1:1.
Why is this ??

what is happenign is the system is overclocking your cpu, but it doesnt want to overclock you ram so it alter the ratio between the fsb and the ram clock speed. Simple really

Uh 3.0GHz with a 20% overclock is not 3.2Ghz

I cant remember ... cant u set the memroy clocks independently?
