well it'd downclock to ddr2 667 initially, but if you can overclock your board, then you could raise it in correlation with FSB (like a 1:2 divider for FSB, so your fsb is at 400, then your ram would be at 800ddr2)
yeah i understand that but the motherboard will oc unlinked with the fsb, but if the motherboard has more mhz running thru it, could it be bad for the motherboard?
Well you memory is linked with your FSB. The PCI/PCIe bus is locked on most boards now at 33.3/100mhz. But if you raise your FSB the memory bus goes up as well.
