Memory Overclock

I'm running 2GB Dominator PC2 8500 @ 1167 MHz. Stock speed is rated @ 1066 MHz. The timings are 5-5-5-15 2T. Voltage @ 2.2.

When I set the speed to 1200MHz, my system booted but blue screened when I reached the desktop. Basically, I'm new to OC'ing and would like some suggestions on how to gain a higher, stable speed.

I dont have much experience , but maybe try to up the voltage to 2.4 V or more and loosen the timings some more. Once you reach a RAM speed you are happy with you can tighten up the timings using trial and error, same goes for voltage.
