Memory Problems, Need Help

Hey all. Had a blue screen earlier, after reboot, vista error message displayed that it could be a memory problem. Ram Memtest86+ and it came up with well over 1000+ errors. Removed 1gb, rebooted and still got loads of errors. Swapped sticks, rebooted, but this time would not even boot, so I take it that stick is nakered? Other one on its way out aswell? It has never beel over volted and not been over it's 1000MHz limit. Any reasons for this happening? It's only about 7 months old.

It's running at 778mhz (fsb 389). Does anyone know if there are any risks if I continue to use the ram? The PC is working ok, I played the Crysis demo earlier with no crashes, this was after the blue screen. It was using 1.79gb at the time, a bit odd.

Update: Just been playing MOH Airborne for an hour, no crashes, using around 90% of the ram. This is a bit weird right? How come the ram is working even with so many errors?

Um. It's kinda like white cells, it doesn't really affect it (1000's of errors doesn't always mean 1000 critical errors) The errors are probably just very minor, and don't really need to be looked at. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Obviously there is some sort of problem hence the blue screen I mentioned earlier and another just a moment ago. Would it be worth getting them RMA'd anyway? It's only going to get worse.

I don't know If you were overclocking the memory or not, but if the warranty covers overclocking I would return it. If you were not overclocking the memory I would definitely return it. Random Access Memory chips should last longer than 7 months if you are running them at the manufacturers specified voltage.
