Got my new pc today.

went to upgrade the ram from 256mb to 1024mb..

so i put the two 512mb in , turned it back on and the computer started bleeping at me?

What does this mean...

Either you installed the RAM incorrectly, installed the wrong kind, or went over the limit that the motherboard supports.

Try only using 1x 512MB stick in either slot, and see if it works.

Was there a pattern to the beeping heard like one long followed by two short? Did anything come up onscreen? A bad video card or cpu will also generate an audio alert code. If your memory or video card is not seated properly in their slots that will set off a series of beep codes.

one long beep..
nothing on screen that im aware off
it works not using the oringal 256 ram..

Either you can find your hardware manual/manufacturers website and look up the beep code (probably faster than waiting on a response) or if you can tell us what motherboard you have (or make of your compter, Dell, HP/Compaq, etc) as well as describe the beep pattern as suggested above and someone will look it up for you.

Assuming the computer was working before you installed the new ram, you've probably not got it in all the way, try reseating it. If it wasn't working before it could be anything and the beep code is the only way to know.

I think Packard Bell uses AMIs. There's no entry that I am aware of for 1 long beep, but 1 long followed by 3 short is a memory failure and what most people get after upgrading RAM. Reseating usually fixes this but if it doesn't then you may have received bad RAM.

tryed it again last night with one 512mb ram and 256mb ram and it didnt bleep but go no input to the screen belive it sed no Rgb input?

so i tryed it with one 512mb ram and it start to bleep one long bleep..

Sounds like you have a series of problems then. The RAM is probably bad since your 256 stick doesn't result in beeping. You also have a video problem, have you checked that the video is connected?

No power, loose cord, or short seen on one type of bios hearing a continual beep or a repeating single short beep. TOAST! Bad ram and a failed video card are likely.
