I just built a new system with Vista and gaming in mind. It runs GREAT! but I have question reguarding the memory.
I'm running
(1)Centon 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz
and
Corsair TWINX 1024MB PC5400 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 Memory(2x512MB)
______________
Can this hinder the system? Is there anything I might be able to try to get better performance without buying anything extra?
______________
Here's the systems full specs
OS-Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
Mainboard-MSI 945P Neo3-F Socket 775
CPU-Intel Pentium D Dual Core 3.0Ghz
Memory-Centon 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz
Corsair TWINX 1024MB PC5400 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 Memory (2 x 512MB)
Video card-ATI Radeon x1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card
Sound card-Sound Blaster Audigy
