Memory Stick

I have some videos I would like to view on my Sony Clié PEG TJ35. I am currently using Kinoma Player on the Palm and Kinoma Producer on the computer. I have put some high-motion clips such as a motocross jump, but it is far from fluid, I see the clip for 2 seconds than the image stops but the movie continues... What I'd like to know is,

1) Is this because of the player not being able to access the info fast enough on the card (maybe buy a faster card such as the SanDisk MemoryStick Pro ULTRA II)

or

2) Is it because I have not correctly configured the videos in Kinoma Producer?

SanDisk MemoryStick Pro ULTRA II (9.00/9.90 MBytes/sec. burst max. Write/Read Speed)

Current memory stick (1.87/2.45 MBytes/sec. burst max. Write/Read Speed)

As you can see, the read and write speeds change a lot between the 2.

cant you copy the thing to the gadget, and then play it?

You mean to the hard drive of the Palm? No, it'll only let me copy the file to the memory stick.
