Memory Suggestion

Just picked up a new MB - ASUS P5Q Deluxe and a new CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz. Just wondering what memory will work best for this combo?
I also could use some suggestions for a a decent video card. I only game occasionally. Thanks in advance.

Any DDR2 should work well, your board has presets for DDR2 1200/1066/800/667. Anything from GSkill, Corsair, Patriot, Crucial, etc will be pretty good.

If you aren't planing on playing intensive games any entry level to midrange video card will be plenty.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just a bit nervous with this build....haven't done one in 10 years. Things have change a bit since then. Any good reference material on building a computer?

Building as in speccing it out or actually physically putting it all together?

As for speccing it, if you are having trouble try posting your budget and what you already have in the Desktop section and someone will come up with something fairly good.

I always recommend Corsair xms2 800mhz. And I agree with Cromewell for the video card. I only play First Person Shooter and I have the X1650 pro 256 mb and its fine.
