I was planning on getting this G-Skill Memory. It costs about $50, so thats not too bad, but its kinda slow (PC2 4200). Now, i mean thats not too bad, but if i get a new computer any time soon, I wouldn't use it. I found some memory like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590 , which is $38 after rebate! Is there something wrong with this memory. I mean its alot faster (and usually more expensive). Will this work in a Motherboard that can only handle the slower speed? I dont expect it to perform fully, just then with a new computer I can switch it over. THe specifics on my computer (Dell) can be found here http://www.computerforum.com/92598-memory-options.html
Thanks

if you plan on gaming heat spreaders are a good investment, of course this is my opinion...

also, i would suggest the patriot products in your lineup...not ocz or gskill

How specific are motherboards to like the voltages? Will the 2.2V Patriot memory work? I lie the price. It cheaper and has a lower Latency than the 2.0V Patriot memory, so if 2.2V memory works, then thats perfect, although i dont know enough about computers to know what voltages work.
