Memory update...

Ok so I tried setting the voltage to 1.64 from 1.5 and changed timings to 78720 and 1600 but then it only reads 4gb usable! Also it seems to be making my CPU temp go up. Was like at 70c :/
Am I not using the right voltage or can I just not do this on the stock CPU cooler or what :/ where I changed it was under mb intelligent tweaker then dram timing selectable then profile DDR voltage

I would have imagined your motherboard would have automaticly adjusted the memory voltage.
Since you are manually changing the settings and if not correct any thing is possible.

it just sets it to 1.5. Would you be able to help me correctly change them?

.14 volt not going to make much difference, just leave it at 1.5volt... wont hurt it.

.14V on memory is quite a jump, heck .14V on any component is quite a jump.

If you went from 1.5 straight to 1.64, I would put your settings back to stock, and read up on overclocking before continuing as that is one of the most fundamental errors you can make jumping that much straight away. Little amounts, testing it and a lot of patience is the only way you are going to get the best stable OC that you can.

What are your full system specs (at least information on motherboard, CPU, memory and PSU)?

well that's the thing.. my memory is supposed to be rated at that.
I've been trying to read up on OCing, or at least on memory, but not really understanding it completly. Also what programs can I use to see if it's stable? Also should changing the volts from 1.5 to 1.64 make my processor run hotter?
My system specs are:

Since you are talking overclocking I will refrain from this discussion and leave it to the people with more experience on it.
