Memory upgrade or not?

ok i have 4 gigs of Corsair xms2 6400 800mhz 5.5.5.12 but was thinking of upgrading to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146677 1066 for my new mobo would i see a decrease in performance with only two gigs of way better memory? i would add two more gigs later on.when cash allows

personally i would do it. seeing as i dont use up 2 gb. so the faster memory would be more helpful then stuff i wasnt using... depends how much you use though.

Upgrading from 4GB of DDR2 800 to 4GB of DDR2 1066 is NOT worth it. If you want better performance from your RAM then you should run your memory in a 1:1 ratio with your CPU, and lower the timings yourself.
