My computer freezes if I play any new game, and randomly reboots at will. No blue screens yet. I've ran both sticks independently and they are both fine after 12 passed but together I get errors immediatly. I've tried different slots and combos for everything. I've got a brand new antec truepower 650, EVGA 680i, 2gig a-data, no overheating issues, all drivers are updated, harddrive pass inspection. I just reformated and installed xp last week so I' working with a clean install. Please help I don't know were to go now.

Right Click My Computer
Go to Advanced
Go to start up and recoveret settings
un-check the box that says automatically restart.

Next time it restarts you'll get a blue screen note what it says and post it here...

I'm having the same trouble you see, Updating the video card drivers won't help if you have an oldish card, I used a driver cleaner to get rid of all old driver files that weren't deleted. One that was causing the problem appears to of been removed... Lets see if it helps.

You are near enought the same problem as me!

Thanks for the tips guys. I've updated my bios and deleted the partition and "long" formated my harddrive. I also unchecked the "auto restart" option. I called cyberpowerpc (I'll never order from here again) and they suggested that I up my voltage on the ram to 2.0v so I've did this aswell. So far so good its only been about a half hour but memtest is going good. Is the uping the voltage a good thing to do? What does this actually accomplish.

Thanks again

Upping the voltage is how you increase the stabilty of RAM (or other components) when you overclock. It is also required for most DDR2-800 modules.
