memtest

i run memtest on my brand new ram i bought today, and i get errors at random points the latest one says "memory error detected for word pair # 29118104, values 644230944, 644230919 do not match" see the online faQetc, this is brand new ram and was tested on the pc shops machine and passed fine, i am at wits end with it can someone please help anythiing i can change to make it work/??

Then the fault is somewhere else. Either your CPU or motherboard has a problem. Does the test fail in all memory slots?
