I had a few problems with my internet before because of a virus and ever since then, my internet stops working after so long and it's very slow.

Each time my internet stops loading pages, I have to log off on my XP account and log back in and it will work for about 20 mins. After 20 mins, it stops loading pages and once again, I have to log off and back in.

Any idea how to fix this?
 
How did you get rid of the virus and what browser are you using? If you had to reformat the hard drive to get the virus out then you need to install the drivers for your NIC. The virus may have caused damage to your card and/or internet connection. I also advise you to install firefox as your default browser if you haven't done so already.
 
I use Firefox and to get rid of the viruses and spyware and all of that crap, I did a "Hijack This" thread and everything seemed clean afterwards.
