Metropolitan Police Virus

Use revo to uninstall the java program or you can do the following.

Please download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder
  • Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
  • Accept any prompts.
  • Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
  • Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button. Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.
 
Tried Revo, just getting the same message as I do trying to uninstall it through HiJackThis.

JavaRa made a log and deleted some older versions but not the one which you asked me to uninstall.
 
Revo should be able to get rid of it. First, it will try to use java own uninstaller to get rid of it and then at the end you have the option to scan your computer for leftover entries and registry entries. Let it do the scan and it should get rid of it.
