Micro sd memory issue?

when I load my music on my 2 GB micro SD it will fill up to 600 MB and then says full, what could it be?
 
how old is it ive bought a few from wal-mart that were junk try calling the company they jus sent me new ones
 
okay, i think this may work, reformat the drive with fat format not the fat32 format, these cards for phns are required to work on fat type file system, what i suspect that while formating u must have entered the wrong allocation units value (may be)

I never formatted it so how Do I do that, and I got a 8 gb that my phone wont recognize any of the music on it, what could that be?
 
Its not that, The computer will not fill up the 2 GB and when I load the 8 GB the phone wont read it but it will read the 2 GB.
 
Ok, depending on the phone, you will have to find where to access the storage card on your phone, then it should say somewhere to Format.
Just format the card, and it should be fine after.

well u can format it thru your phone there is an option in most of the phone which lets u to format ur phone memory card or u can format thru ur pc using card readers
